Picture of a Photograph

Ryan Blechinger's picture

So finally I bought a digital camera. Yeah yeah, I know, "Welcome to 21st century, asshole!" blah blah blah....

I bought a nice little Kodak EasyShare camera. Simple, small, good picture quality, big screen, tons of features, dead simple controls. Sold! Comes in pretty colors. Double sold!

Anywho, it's really terrific, easy to use and takes some pretty darn nice photographs. It's totally a point and shoot as I wanted something that could fit into a pocket. I'd love to get a lomo or something similar, but I think it would prevent me from actually forming the habit of carrying it around all the time. That and I seriously have no idea if you can even buy film anymore or get film developed. Can you? Anyone? I am seriously unsure. I should go to the store more often, I guess.

I'll be using this camera to take nearly all of the pictures for this site and I soon hope to have a photo gallery set up here. It'll really come in handy for doing photos/art for the blog posts to enhance the storytelling as I mentioned in my first post.

I've only owned it for two weeks, but I'll let you know later what I think of it after the 'long-term-test-drive'.
